Dearest Professor Malkin,
My good friend, Khonsu’s Repear, will probably not be writing anyone at the moment. Please keep this out of the published book but he and Unyielding Strength of Osiris got his family back via a Spell of Legend called Athanasia. I hope you can sympathize having a loved one returned from the dead after 17 years. So for now this messaging back and forth will happen between us at the moment. Hope you like the tango? Cha cha cha!
No Name has informed me that, Mayor Stephen, of Yggdrasil is trying to open a portal to the realms of the dead to bring forth an army!! Could you or rather would you be willing to help the lot of us holy beggars (if you’re not laughing you should be) with this threat so we can tackle it on the way north? This is the topic of research we will need in the short term. The follow up topic is anything about our Northern Foe and his scary armada. We would be in your debt and never doubt we will need you Malkin. Your patience and perseverance has been a hallmark to follow.
In a completely unrelated note Xerx’ses managed to leverage his knowledge of Archaeology and Excavation to create better methods to grow crops? Apparently some of his peoples’ underground farming techniques from his home he actually paid attention to or read about thoroughly, who knew!?! You would not know he was a Demigod. He plowed the fields, he carried feed, hay, supplies, watching him carrying wagons because they are slow is very funny. In the dipping sun he was not the Demigod, the War Wizard, but merely a kind soul that derived great joy helping those in need. It was inspiring to say the least, CrIsis should take a clue about how to not let power run to your head. My best friend and man I trust more than anyone is eleven feet tall and has horns. He is a male version of great Apis working in the fields. He has smiled more each day making work easier on all the farm hands. Every night though he has been wandering off to work on something with the farmers that fashion horseshoes. Looking forward to seeing whatever that is.
I have been training Bron to wield The Three Sisters of Dawn. Brother Bartholomew is a fellow Priest of Isis and will help guide him when I leave. I have made it a gift to No Name’s son as I feel great things for him in the future.
Silent Dream presented No Name’s wife with his Ring of Tongues that is ALWAYS active when worn. He thinks it is a lesser gift but it is kingly indeed! Imagine being able to go anywhere and communicate with EVERYONE! He has been an inspiration to us all. So happy he has been allowed to join us and I see great things for him as well.
Through the great bard we will become the legends of future days,
Blessings of Isis upon thee,
Indaris Excellar, Seeker of Isis

Malkin may take a while to respond in log, but know that next game he will respond… This was well managed- great job!
Ooh… Xerx’ses had a secret project on the farm? I missed that! Very nice log, hopefully this keeps Malkin occupied and happy. Point of clarification though: I thought we were going north, then going to visit Yggdrasil? We should maybe clear that up in game before we begin our travels.
Bron, young Priest to the Gods of Light!
If we have to stop two disasters, and we do. Then stopping a portal to an endless stream of the dead on the way to an armada fight in the northern sea seems an economical use of time.
True, yet we may already be close to too late to help in the North. We also made an arrangement to go to Byzantium. Silent Dream has opinions on this – he will share them when given the chance!
Given the scenarios and time it takes to do ANYTHING, I’d almost recommend splitting the party. Xerx’ses needs to go north because an oath was sworn as a Group. I have no interest in seeing this go south and I die because I broke my word. I have a plan and it requires Bishop Rose, because I feel we can trust her to see it through and not as a half-assed attempt.
Please no group splitting… it sucks having half the group sitting on their hands.
It is very interesting that 2 members are conspicuously absent from the letter. I wonder what they are doing right now?…
As for group splitting WE all go together, period.
