If you see your image used here and wish a credit on this page, let me know! If you wish for me to remove it, send me a message through Obsidian Portal and I will remove your image. Nothing here is for profit, but instead for other people to enjoy the setting as much as I have.
If you are looking for great items and spells, look no further than the great Ancient Vaults and Eldritch Secrets Blog.
Most of all, I cannot begin to say enough about Palladium Books. I have played many other systems, but keep coming back. The rules we use are mostly book rules, with magic casting coming from the Rifts Ultimate Edition. The maps are also mostly from Palladium, and the setting is pure Palladium. Palladium Books makes great settings. Fantasy, Armed Forces, Super Heroes, Ninjas, Horror, Zombies, Anthropomorphic, and of course their most-known game- Rifts.

I am not a programmer. This site is all stolen/borrowed formats and programming. The Obsidian Portal community as a whole is incredible! A huge debt of gratitude to Arsheesh, whose guidelines I stole and whose help has been invaluable. Check out his great campaigns here Age of Legends and Tales of Darkmoon Vale. The unofficial help & tips faq by ChainsawXIV has been used regularly. His game is Sanction of the Athar. Duskreign has also lent a hand, a foot, and most importantly, his brain. His most recent campaign is The Duskreign Prophecy, and of course the beautiful Wyrmshadow, winner of Obsidian’s Campaign of the year for 2010. Wolfhound, with his infinite patience for my literal translations, helped me change the appearance of the entire site! His great campaign is Dresden Files Dallas. Magavendon has contributed greatly in his expert analysis of my campaign, and his suggestions have been invaluable. His campaign is Progression into the Stars. Gaaran has contributed code and inspiration. His latest campaign is The Dark Queen of the West. Thanks to Justin Mason, aka Hoptowngamenight, for answering programming questions in the middle of the night. His awesome campaign is here From Beyond the Shattered Gateway. Two other GM’s that have helped tremendously are Phoenix Mark (Crimson Skies, among others) and Pils (Dark Sun). Thanks as well to the GMs of the New Plot Club, where GMs gather to share plot ideas. There are 2 fans of the site that have made numerous comments, suggestions, and who have caught broken links- thanks so much Abu_Is_Evil and Hotrod! I must thank two players, Craig Coxson, who contributed much of the coding to this site, and Panda Jester, who truly helped shape the mood of not only the site, but the game itself. A huge CSS contribution comes from both Kallak, whose COTM is Dangerous Kalamar, and Robert Kety, whose COTM is Dragons of Autumn. Last, but definitely not least, thanks to our only honorary member, Twiggyleaf, whose invaluable opinions have helped shape the site. His great campaign is Shimring. He has guested as the great Jidian Kulder.
I also have the greatest group of player characters in the world! Henry Bingham who was my longest running player- formerly the Dwarven Mariner Overkill and later the crazy Hobgoblin ludicrous mage. You always have a place at our table! AZ Rune has taken on the challenge of playing a Minotaur in a land where they are thought to be pure evil! AZ Rune is also our resident artist, in charge of character portraits. One player hails from Tasmania, Kiralon, who is taking on the gargantuan task of playing a human priest, Indaris, in this craziness. There is one of our comeback players, Craig Coxson,, mentioned above, who played early on and returned, as a Kobold! The Kobold was eaten by a Dragon, and he now plays a Faerie, Hannah. Another player, Lurch6571, has taken on the challenge of playing a Wolfen Palladin, Raulf! Our 2 newest players have rejoined after absences. Gaitkeeper is playing the very popular Ashada, Ja’Deir. PandaJester, who has been co-GM, characters, and color- whatever was required in the past, has come back as the mysterious Dread Knight, the Man With No Name. We also have 3 players that make regular appearances- or for some very irregular. Our go-to bench player is Caminata, who plays any absent character flawlessly. There is another player that show up from time to time, Witchcraft, whose crazy gnome warlock Tyvernos is always welcome. Lastly I must mention Twiggyleaf, whose yearly January appearances as “the most dangerous man in the world”, Jidian Kulder, are always great times. Thank you all for sticking with me, through thick and thin, through others coming and going, through mix-ups, complete changes, and the whims of the gods! I mean it- you all are the best!!
Location is not important, as we are playing over video conferencing. Two players are in Utah, one is in Arizona, another in Northern California, one in Ohio, and another hails from Tasmania, Australia!, and the GM is in Los Angeles.
People in CrIsis come and go- please feel free to drop the GM a note if you would like to be on the waiting list.
