This horrific sword is what changed Shelandra into a huge demonic creature, Necrom the Undying. This sword is a weapon whose power comes from the dreaded Old Ones.

CrIsis carefully deposits it upon Matilda, but when they are marooned on Lemaria someone grabs the sword, and Necrom the servant of the Old Ones returns!
