A Note about Races in the Palladium World:
Most races you will recognize- when masters like Tolkien set the groundwork, why mess with it? Some are unique to Palladium. As I am using their world and setting, I again must thank Palladium Books©, Palladium 2nd Ed.©, Palladium Fantasy ©, are registered trademarks owned & licensed by Kevin Siembieda & Palladium Books, Inc..
The races are given below, with short descriptions and notable examples, if any, for the players. There are 5 total types of race, which includes the 3 most recognized- “Handsome”, such as humans, elf, dwarf, & gnome, “Monster”, such as orc, ogre, kobold, and wolfen, and “Magic”, such as dragons, faeries, and sphinx. There is a fourth category given here, which would normally fall within the Magic category, the Gods’ minions. Lastly there is a category for monsters, ones that are more animal than intelligent. Humans and their “handsome” allies are currently the dominant force in the Palladium World. There are many more races than I have listed here, as I am only putting in the ones the player characters know. (so it will also grow over time)
